The escudella is the typical plate from Andorra. It is a delicious stew with potatoes, vegetables and pork meat. It can also be served with pasta, receiving the name of sopa grossa. Another recipe that will not leave you indifferent is the Trinxat; a dish that uses potato purée, cabbage and leek covered with chicory leaves and a poached egg. Do not forget to try the crème of Andorra or the coca massegada, also eaten in Catalonia. It is an oval, sweet and flat bread covered with nuts, almonds and cream.
